Prof. Shahack-Gross focuses here research on archaeological materials and the processes that lead to their presence in archaeological sites (the so-called field of ‘site formation processes’). She is especially interested in archaeological materials reflecting economic practices and inter-relationships, in both coastal and inland environments, at prehistoric and historic periods.
