The Haifa Center for Mediterranean History is now proudly supporting the publication of one of the most significant periodicals in the field, the Mediterranean Historical Review. Since its foundation in 1986 by a group of innovative historians at Tel Aviv University, the MHR has been publishing scholarship focusing on “the Mediterranean as a vast and complex hub of human interaction and relations, both geographically and historically.” MHR’s latest issue features one of the papers read at the inaugural HCMH conference (Nov. 2016):
Dina Stein, “Diaspora and Nostalgia: Travelling Jewish Tales in the Mediterranean.” Mediterranean Historical Review 34, no. 1 (2019): 49-69.
