We are proud to share the news about a recently published book, co-edited by HCMH affiliate, Dr. Uriel Simonsohn: The Family in Late
Antiquity – between Kinship and Community.
The book is a collection of essays in Hebrew from leading scholars of diverse historical, linguistic, and disciplinary expertise. The essays
in the volume touch upon tensions and overlaps between kinship and communal affiliations in late antique
Christian, Jewish, and Islamic contexts, throughout the lands extending from the Oxus to the Atlantic.
The publication received HCMH’s support. We will hold a book launch in May 2020 — stay tuned. Congratulations Uri!
