Dr. Federico Ugolini, HCMH Post-Doctoral fellow, published a new article in Romagna. Arte e Storia, titled “Sui più antichi fari e moli di Romagna. La ricerca antiquaria dei porti romani”.

The paper examines selected antiquarian representations of the Roman harbours of Ravenna and Rimini during the early Modern period (1500-1800). Using textual and visual accounts, it explores the antiquarian reception of these Roman Adriatic ports and the antiquarian response to the rediscovery of lost maritime architectures.
