HCMH postdoctoral fellow Renard Gluzman participated in the PIMo Annual Conference held in Florence last week. The inaugural conference revolved around the theme “Encounters at sea, material and symbolic mobility across the Mediterranean”. The presentations explore the movement of people, ideas, paper and objects through Mediterranean encounters. Within this framework, Gluzman presented a paper on “The economic viability of a movable object: The case of the Mediterranean round ship”.
