As a PhD candidate in the Department of Maritime Civilization at The University of Haifa, Sangeetha’s dissertation questions the trade that flourished between Tamil Kingdoms and the Mediterranean. It will examine trade patterns within the maritime context, and analyze how these transformed through economic, political and social changes.
