Dr. Federico Ugolini, HCMH Post-Doctoral fellow, published a new article in the Journal of Ancient Topography, titled “Production Sites and Kilns for Romagna Amphorae in Roman Adriatic Italy”.
The article explores the Romagna countryside with its rural and production sites, and their role within the economy of Adriatic Italy. It examines production sites by mapping and experimentally quantifying kilns in the region, as well as by assessing their capacity and productivity. It analyses the circulation, distribution and trade of these containers around the Mediterranean.
Congratulations Federico!
