In July, we were invited by the French ambassador to Israel Hélène Le Gal to participate in a special reception given on board the LHD “Dixmude”, a 200m long French helicopter carrier visiting the harbour of Haifa. Dr. Gil Gambash, our co-director, represented HCMH in the event, and was joined also by the University of Haifa’s VP for external relations, Prof. Dan Tchernov. The reception included colourful cultural vignettes, and HCMH attendance betokened our growing collaboration with various French research institutes, as well as directly with the French embassy itself.
